Student Giving Workshop

November 9, 2023 11:30am-4:00pm ET

Overview

Institutions that teach students about the impact of philanthropy and engage them in giving before they graduate tend to raise more money and have higher alumni participation rates. Starting from the moment first-year students step on campus and leading up to their commencement ceremony, student philanthropy programs are central to building a culture of philanthropy and ensuring continued and lifelong alumni support after graduation.

Join us on November 9th for an interactive online workshop where you’ll learn how to take your student philanthropy efforts to the next level by engaging in small group discussions with peers, sharing issues and ideas, and learning how others plan and execute successful programs.

Participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Discover the latest trends and best practices in student giving.
  • Meet and get to know colleagues from other institutions.
  • Find out how other organizations approach their work.
  • View and discuss real examples, issues, and ideas.
  • Examine your own efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Obtain tools, templates, and other materials
  • Earn CFRE credit
  • And more!

This event is ideal for advancement professionals at educational institutions who wish to learn more about student giving.
