Our Story

As the world’s leading resource for annual giving programs, AGN helps educational institutions develop sustainable sources of philanthropic support. We’re proud to have served thousands of colleges, universities and independent schools through our research, training, and consulting services, and through our membership program, which provides ongoing access to professional development.

Annual Giving Network (AGN) began in 2010 when founder, Dan Allenby, started researching trends and techniques in the field of annual giving and sharing his findings through a blog, special reports, and interactive webinars. He expanded his efforts by recruiting subject matter experts from across the industry to provide training and tools to the increasing number new staff and rising leaders in the field. Since then, the network has embraced a mission of bringing educational fundraising professionals together, leveraging technology to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas, and identifying the best practices in annual giving.

Today, AGN continues to conduct research and develop resources including a job board, samples, webinars, workshops, and a podcast that features some of the industry’s most interesting voices. Our goal is to help each and every educational institution prepare its pipeline and achieve great annual fundraising results.
