This was our second annual Day of Giving. Our goal was to raise $120,000 from at least 500 donors. We combined online challenges and posts, with emails, a mailing and on campus events to celebrate the day and engage as many people as possible.
|What makes this unique|
Giving Days are not unique to higher education. We are a small SUNY school that just recently completed our NCAA Division III requirements. We do not have a huge athletic following and our alumni base is small on the grand scale of things....so to have a successful giving day with this much participation is unique to us.
Outside of our monetary goal, and our donor count goal, we hoped to acquire first time donors, reengage lapsed donors and produce second annual gifts.
We raised $152,000 from just over 950 donors.
