William & Mary seeks an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as Associate Vice President for Annual Giving and Chief Operating Officer (AVP/COO) in the university advancement office. Reporting directly to the Vice President for University Advancement, Matthew T. Lambert ’99, this AVP/COO will be a seasoned professional with proven management experience and a deep understanding of annual giving leadership, advancement operations, and campaign execution. They will serve as a strategic advisor to the Vice President and work closely with other leaders across the institution as a senior member of the university advancement executive leadership team. In partnership with the executive leadership team, the AVP/COO will serve as an essential leader in the planning and execution of the next campaign and manage the investment in talent and resources to achieve campaign success.
