Purpose:

The University Development Annual Giving Programs is looking for a senior graphic designer to join their team. With guidance and direction from the AGP assistant director of development and University Marketing and Communications art director, the senior graphic designer will produce print and digital creative solutions that address the marketing and fundraising needs of the annual giving team and the university.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute engaging concepts for print and digital collateral with great attention to quality and detail. Projects include but are not limited to fundraising campaign brand design, direct mailers, brochures, ads, presentations, event collateral and signage, web and social media assets, animations, email layout, and promotional items.
  • Maintain UT brand continuity and visual appearance in print, digital and multimedia environments.
  • Collaborate with team members on creative project solutions.
  • Preflight/prep print and digital files and coordinate production with vendors.
  • Update files and extend existing designs and templates across a variety of file types and sizes.
  • Provide support for photo searches and photo editing, such as color correction, resizing, clipping, and creating consistency between photos.
  • Develop and manage inventory of relevant materials, photos, graphics, and design assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in graphic design and production. Ability to design and produce high-quality work with a strong sense of concept development, superior design, technical and editing skills, and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends. Experience with the printing process including print specifications and final files service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work within budget, and collaborate with a team. Fluency in Adobe CC, Keynote, PPT, and Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five or more years of experience in graphic design and production. Experience in design and branding of multichannel campaigns (print, email, social media, web, promotional items). Experience in creating motion graphics and/or animations. More than five years of experience in graphic design and production. Basic knowledge of HTML a plus.

Salary Range:

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions:

Hybrid / flex working environment.
