The Coordinator I, Foundation Services will serve as support for the Donor Relations and Stewardship department and assist with comprehensive administrative duties to the Assistant Vice President, Donor Relations and Stewardship (Manager II) as well as the Associate Vice President, Donor Relations and Stewardship (Director I). Under supervision, assist with the department’s day-to-day operations including tracking of departmental budget, processing contracts through the MediTract system, and working with colleagues in Sourcing and Procurement to understand procedures and fulfill the needs of the department. This position will coordinate the gift acknowledgement process through consistent tracking, preparation and follow-through as well as careful review of appropriate gift backup in the Development database. This position requires extreme attention to detail and excellent organization.

The ability to multi-task is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, has excellent written and oral communication skills, and is highly organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. The candidate must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a fast paced, service-oriented environment with exposure to communications and fundraising required, preferably in a medical or higher educational setting.
  • Preferred knowledge of fundraising, donor relations and stewardship principles.
  • Successful experience working with donors and proficiency in Blackbaud eCRM or equivalent development database highly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy working on a team, and exhibit an excellent customer-service orientation.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. College degree or equivalent experience required.
