$62,630.00 – $75,185.00 (Annual)

The Annual Giving department operates within the Development and Alumni Engagement portfolio of the University, responsible for fundraising initiatives below the $25K threshold. It is a highly complex unit responsible for engaging over 90% of the University’s donors annually through hundreds of strategic internal and external campaigns across multiple channels.

In the position of Development Officer, Production, Annual Giving, you will be responsible for leading projects for solicitation purposes and/or developing and maintaining department tools and resources. You will work with other units, departments and suppliers to ensure campaigns and special projects are executed effectively. The role includes responsibility for the design, configuration, and production of annual giving level fundraising materials including direct mail, e-solicitations, gift forms, brochures and other solicitation materials. The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting senior management to ensure annual fundraising benchmarks and performance goals are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have University degree in Design, Marketing or Advertising, three years of proven experience in production management including hands-on use of Creative Suite and MS Office applications, and a background with fundraising and online platforms. A thorough knowledge of the university environment and academic structure is preferred. You must have the ability to anticipate problems and issues and plan ahead. Ability to be thorough, accurate, and have a high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while exercising good judgement at all times. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets, determine implications, and provide recommendations.
