Director of Corporate Relations
It is an exciting time to be a part of the UMass Lowell team. In the last seven years, the campus has been dramatically invigorated with new academic buildings, record enrollments, advances in research and soaring national rankings. The Office of University Advancement plays an instrumental role in this unprecedented growth, helping UMass Lowell to achieve record-level fundraising increases for the last five years. The office is now leading the University in its first-ever comprehensive campaign, Our Legacy, Our Place: The Campaign for UMass Lowell, to support strategic campus priorities. The Advancement Office at UMass Lowell is looking for dedicated, high energy candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The Director of Corporate Relations is charged with managing the planning, organization, and implementation of a robust corporate fundraising program with the goal of increasing support focused on the University’s strategic and campaign priorities. The Director will work with faculty and staff, senior leadership and volunteers to develop and implement strategies and relationships for corporate philanthropy, sponsorships, collaborative research, co-op experiences, recruitment and continuing education. He/she will partner with the various colleges and major fundraising programs and their assigned directors of development to provide critical resources and personnel to proactively identify funding opportunities and make productive matches with corporate and foundation funding sources.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree required
- Five to seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, preferably in government, corporate or foundation arenas within higher education
- The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
