Associate Director of SU Annual Fund
Reporting to the Director of the SU Annual Fund, you will play a pivotal role in engaging alumni, parents, and friends of Susquehanna University to strengthen annual support and donor participation. This is your opportunity to lead impactful campaigns, foster meaningful relationships, and ignite a culture of giving that benefits the entire university community.
- Program Leadership: Develop and implement engaging initiatives for reunion giving, young alumni outreach, and affinity-based fundraising.
- Volunteer Management: Build and lead a vibrant Class Agent program that inspires alumni to get involved through peer-to-peer outreach.
- Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with colleagues across Advancement and campus to craft compelling campaigns across digital, direct mail, social media, and other channels.
- Data & Analysis: Assist in evaluating campaign performance, segmenting audiences, and identifying trends to inform strategy and optimize outreach.
- Donor Engagement: Help engage and steward annual fund donors by aligning their philanthropic interests with university priorities. Support efforts that elevate annual giving through meaningful interactions, communications, and personalized experiences.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a collaborative self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to excellence. If you bring the following qualifications, we’d love to hear from you:A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit work, marketing, or a related field. Alternate education and pathways will be considered including an associate’s degree with 5 years or no degree with 7 years of transferrable experience.Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for building relationships.Proficiency with technology, including database software, Microsoft Office Suite, and communication tools.A flexible, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to travel, work occasional evenings and weekends, and immerse yourself in the Susquehanna community.
Physical Requirements
This role involves the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, move throughout campus, and effectively communicate verbally. Occasional physical activities may include bending, crouching, reaching, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds. Work is primarily performed indoors.
