Annual Giving Manager
The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all annual giving programs for the Academy, so as to reach set annual goals.
Specific Duties Include:
- Assisting with the management of annual giving solicitations including direct mail, texting, email campaigns, and other concerted fundraising efforts.
- Coordinates donor recognition and acknowledgement process, donor reports, and other special communications.
- Recruits, trains, motivates, and manages annual giving volunteers from multiple constituencies. Includes working with the Community Engagement Manager for Parent Community volunteers, so there is a seamless connection between the Parent Community and The Woodward Fund.
- Plans details and logistics for all annual giving events, including President’s Circle Dinner and spring donor event(s).
- Stewards donors through personal notes, emails, and phone calls.
- Drafts and proofreads giving messages and communications.
- Works with the Advancement Services team to coordinate the pledge reminder process for annual campaigns.
- Creates and manages social media content relating to annual giving efforts.
- Runs data queries and reports associated with annual giving using Raiser’s Edge.
- Manages the matching gifts process and outreach.
- Assists with Georgia GOAL Scholarship program.
- Performs data entry updates in Raiser’s Edge as needed.
- Attends and staffs Advancement events.
- Assists in answering phones, greeting guests, and welcoming office visitors.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, as some evenings and weekends may be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:

- Must be reliable and exhibit a willing spirit towards supporting team projects and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Service oriented problem-solver who is able to successfully work with diverse individuals
- Strong analytical skills
- Exhibits a collaborative spirit when responding to emerging or unplanned projects
- Strong computer skills, including a high competency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM database systems; competency with email marketing programs, graphic design, and social media
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit, fundraising, volunteer management, and/or an independent school setting preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
The Annual Giving Manager position is a twelve month, exempt position. This is an in-person position, working from the College Park campus. Employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Substantial benefits are available.
