Annual Giving Coordinator
This position is part of a centralized annual giving model at UGA managing the mass marketing programs for annual gift solicitations for a group of schools and colleges. This Annual Giving Coordinator plans and implements overall annual giving programs and is specifically responsible for developing and overseeing special campaigns related to five to six school/college constituencies. Communication is important to this role in crafting and producing solicitation messages, developing promotional and recognition opportunities, and responding to individual donor questions or concerns. The Annual Giving Coordinator utilizes multiple communications channels to secure private gifts and engage large numbers of donors through specialized campaigns. This position occasionally interacts with constituents through face-to-face solicitations, personalization of solicitation materials, attentive donor relations and inclusion in exclusive events and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years or more experience in higher education fundraising or related field

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement omnichannel annual giving strategies for assigned schools, colleges, and units, including direct mail, email, digital, phone, texting, etc.
- Coordinate special giving campaigns for assigned schools, colleges, and units.
- Advise school, college, and unit development staff on annual giving best practices and coordinate school, college, and unit involvement with central annual giving initiatives.
- Analyze key performance metrics for annual and special giving campaigns and provide reports to school, college, and unit liaisons.
- Plan and execute the annual Faculty/Staff/Retiree campaign, including partnering with the Executive Director and Senior Director to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, with the division’s communications department (DARCOMM) to create design and messaging, with the central annual giving team to coordinate with schools, colleges and units, with advancement services to create proper queries and reports, with donor relations and stewardship to create a stewardship plan for donors, and with vendors to execute the project as needed.
- Analyze and provide frequent reporting on the performance of the Faculty/Staff/Retiree campaign.
- Plan and execute the annual UGA license tag campaign, including partnering with the Executive Director and Senior Director to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, with DARCOMM to create design and messaging, with alumni relations to determine partnership with alumni chapters, with local tag agencies to build relationships and utilize available marketing outlets, and with vendors to execute the project as needed.
- Analyze and provide reporting on the performance of the UGA license tag campaign and marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement APR and annual giving revenue campaigns with the UGA Bookstore, including partnering with Follett staff to determine possible strategies and campaigns and final execution of the campaigns, with DARCOMM to create branding and messaging as needed, with the central annual giving team to coordinate with schools, colleges and units, and with advancement services and gift accounting to ensure gifts are matched in the Giving and Alumni Information Link (GAIL) database and processed properly.
- Analyze and provide reporting on the performance of each campaign.
Respond to donor questions and concerns from phone, email, and direct mail efforts. 5%
