Job Description:
As the Associate Director of Annual Giving for Individual Giving (ADAG) your roll will be to increase leadership level support (gifts of $1,787- $50,000 annually) for the Franklin and Marshall Fund (FMF) through the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of alumni, parents, and friends. The ADAG also develops and manages key volunteers dedicated to helping increase participation and leadership level support for the Franklin and Marshall Fund.
Essential Functions:
- Work toward monthly goals for donor acquisition and retention, secure funds for the College by identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding alumni, parents and friends who are capable of making leadership-level gifts (more than $2,500 annually) to the Franklin & Marshall Fund.
- Establish and manage effective relationships with Annual Giving volunteers and other alumni and friends of the College. Recruit, train, manage and steward assigned volunteers and groups. Manage assigned budget.
- Develop and execute programming and communications to meet individual and team alumni participation and FMF dollar goals.
- Support on and off campus constituent engagement events; Represent College Advancement at events, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in advancement; non-profit management required; 3+ years preferred
- Valid Drivers License required
- Intermediate knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Basic Databases knowledge required
- Ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential
- Ability to work collaboratively and as necessary to achieve departmental goals and to provide excellent service to internal and external constituents
- Ability to be an ambassador of the College, its mission and College Advancement
- Because this position requires driving for College business, the successful candidate must possess a U.S. or Canadian driver’s license which has been valid for at least two years, have a driving record that is free from excessive motor vehicle violations within the last three years, and have had no convictions in the last 24 months for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks, a criminal background verification, and verification of credentials. The College will coordinate these verifications.
