Associate Director of Annual Giving
Position Summary:
The Assistant/Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving will be charged with the continuous growth and management of key annual giving programs among alumni of the last 30 years. The Assistant/Associate Director will manage reunions (5th-30th) and class agents (through the 29th year) in cooperation with a colleague working with older alumni. This focus on younger alumni programs will allow the Assistant/Associate Director to work to achieve greater membership of young and mid-career alumni in the Washington C. DePauw Society and to identify and target emerging generational leaders.
In addition, the Assistant/Associate Director will work with Alumni Engagement to develop solicitation strategies for international alumni, and serves as the development liaison to the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Alumni Board. The Assistant/Associate Director is responsible not only for developing compelling programming aimed at moving donors swiftly through the pipeline, but also with soliciting gifts at the young alumni leadership annual giving level ($100-$2,000) and Named Scholar donors ($5,000), as well as identifying major gift prospects among mid-career alumni. Ultimately, this position helps facilitate the movement of our most promising young and mid-career alumni through the leadership pipeline — from student leader, to engaged young alumnus/a, to leadership level donor.
