Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Officer will oversee a variety of Annual Giving fundraising initiatives with a strategic focus on donor acquisition and retention. The Annual Giving Officer’s primary responsibilities include overseeing strategy, staffing, and management for Pacific’s Call Center, managing and coordinating the annual day of giving, and partnering with students, faculty, staff, and alumni volunteers to build successful crowdfunding campaigns. Additional responsibilities include coordinating messaging with key campus partners, developing marketing plans to ensure digital fundraising success, and contributing to University-wide events.
This position requires scheduling flexibility to allow for call center oversight and training as needed. Strong communication and leadership skills are preferred, as this position will work with a variety of partners from schools and academic units on Pacific’s three campuses. The Annual Giving Officer will be responsible for the development and execution of annual plans for each of the programs the position manages.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and Two (2) years’ work experience in fundraising function;
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years or more in an annual giving or other fundraising role. Program or event planning experience desired. Degree in Marketing, Communications or English.
