Annual Giving and Events Manager
Williamson College of the Trades is seeking to hire an Annual Giving and Events Manager. Reporting to the Director of Development and Campaigns, the Annual Giving and Events Manager is responsible for raising funds through the annual giving programs such as direct mail, phonathons, and individual solicitations, and planning and executing events. The Annual Giving and Events Manager will be responsible for identification, cultivation and solicitation of individual annual gifts, and contributing to creating an environment to build the culture of philanthropy.
Qualified candidates will have two (2) or more years of experience in development or related field. The Manager must have successful project management experience with proven ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to build, foster and maintain relationships with both internal and external constituencies including administrators, faculty, trustees, volunteer leaders, students, donors and prospects. Progressive experience using electronic media as a means to communicate and engage others along with the ability to motivate and oversee volunteers is essential. Must have strong communication skills to express orally and in writing Williamson College of the Trades’ mission, vision and goals with clarity, passion and persuasion. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have previous experience working with databases preferably Raiser’s Edge. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Must be willing and able to travel and work evenings and weekends when required.
