Description

In January of 2023, the Johns Hopkins Office of Annual Giving ran a cause-based solicitation in an effort to re-engage our long-lasped and future donors. In partnership with the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association and the Johns Hopkins Office of Economic Development, we ran a campaign to raise funds for school uniforms for Baltimore City public school students. A gift of $50 provided two uniforms. The campaign included both emails and a mailed letter. From an audience that is historically very difficult to engage, we were able to bring in over 300 donors.
