Description

On behalf of Babson’s annual fund team I am submitting a new campaign we rolled out in FY23 targeted at alumni couples called “BSquared… happily ever after” which is a wall on campus dedicated to these Babson couples. The wall will be installed in the fall of FY24 and will feature semi-permanent decals on glass that can be moved or re-moved if necessary.

On Valentine’s Day we sent the first email to all alumni couples without an FY23 gift and asked them to make a recurring gift of $50 over five years for a total of $250. We sent two additional emails, a direct mail piece, and posted on all of our social channels with video and imagery. In July FY24 we also sent one last chance email to alumni who had already made a gift in FY23 (thus not previously targeted) promoting the introductory $250 gift level. In August FY24 we increased the recurring gift level to $500.

We had 61 couples add their names to the wall during this inaugural year and $26,500 pledged through this campaign. All couples were asked to make either an annual or monthly recurring gift.
