At Oregon State University, alumni employees have demonstrated a deep commitment to the Beaver community by choosing to work and learn at their university. In the fall of 2024, the annual giving team at Oregon State University Foundation launched a survey to name this dedicated group to foster community amongst more than 2,000 colleagues. Mighty Beavers embodies school spirit, celebrates achievements, promotes generosity, and provides opportunities to build connections amongst these special colleagues.
Mighty impact:
• Over 520 Mighty Beavers have volunteered in support of OSU
• More than 50% have made a gift in their lifetime as proud members of OSU Loyal, OSU’s employee giving circle
• Mighty Beavers represented 30% of employee donors on Dam Proud Day 2024
• About 40 households have Mighty Beavers spouses
• Degree years range from 1951 to present with Mighty Beavers from every college
Mighty Beavers had their kick-off “Mighty Beaver Mixer” in January 2024 with inspiring remarks and thoughtful branding to build recognition.
