Coordinator, Digital & Social Giving
Florida State University is currently in the leadership phase of a comprehensive campaign. As the leadership phase of the campaign begins, the Division of University Advancement is accelerating the hiring of additional Annual Giving professionals’ campus-wide and is excited to build out its team. Responsibilities
Reporting to the assistant director for Digital and Social Giving, the coordinator executes a series of solicitations, which include SPARKFSU projects, Giving Tuesday, FSU’s Great Give, text and digital ad campaigns that support the comprehensive digital and social giving program with the support of the assistant director.
The Digital and Social Giving program is designed to raise funds from, and provide meaningful engagement opportunities for, alumni, friends, students, faculty and staff, and parents and families of current and former Florida State University students.
Student Philanthropy Officer
Hire, train and manage student philanthropy officers for annual giving phone solicitation. Maintain and provide timely reports that measure program success. Oversee data integrity of all solicitable records.
FSU’s Great Give
Manage and execute omni-channel fundraising activities that support the overarching fundraising goals for the university’s annual giving day.
Solicits annual giving level gifts.
SPARKFSU
Create and execute SPARKFSU projects. This includes supporting colleges, schools, units, students and other campus entities. Maintain updated contact information and provide ongoing support and training.
Giving Tuesday
Coordinates a partnership between various colleges, schools, units and other campus entities to promote philanthropy to their area.
Digital Ads and Text Campaigns
Oversees digital ads and text campaigns that support fundraising projects for annual giving solicitations.
Provides program and department support to donors, colleagues and campus partners in a timely manner.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
