Director of Annual Giving
Position Summary:
The Division of College Advancement at Lycoming College seeks applications for the position of Director of Annual Giving. This administrative staff position, reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Development, will partner with all areas of College Advancement. The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for directing and coordinating Annual Giving initiatives and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Lycoming Annual Fund from goal setting, marketing, solicitation and staff management.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of three years of fundraising experience; fundraising in a higher education environment is preferred. Must possess solid administrative skills; familiarity with prospect management systems; ability to develop strategic plans; set objectives and achieve program and fundraising goals. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A strong personal commitment to the importance of private higher education and the mission of Lycoming College is essential. Must be willing and able to travel frequently and possess a valid driver’s license. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required dependent on work load and/or activities and events sponsored by College Advancement.
