Dan Allenby | President & Founder

Dan is an author, speaker, and consultant who has worked with educational institutions for more than 25 years to improve their fundraising results. An internationally recognized expert on annual giving, he is a CASE Laureate and recipient of the prestigious Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence. His book Ideas for Annual Giving offers designs for helping organizations increase their levels of sustainable philanthropic support. Dan has led annual giving and membership programs at Boston University, Tufts University, Georgetown University, and the National Geographic Society. He also served on the faculty for CASE’s Summer Institute in Educational Fundraising and chaired its Senior Annual Giving Professionals Conference and Annual Giving Workshop for five collective terms. He holds a B.A. in History from James Madison University and a M.B.A. from Boston College.
Kathy Sargent | Director of Program Development

Kathy manages the development and production of AGN’s various programs including webinars, workshops and other offerings. Her experience includes work in business development, operations, and marketing in the finance and music industries. She holds a B.A. in French and an MBA from Boston College and a Certificate in Digital Marketing from the Yale School of Management’s Executive Education program.
Rebecca Simulis | Membership Manager

Becky manages AGN’s membership program with a focus on helping institutions get the most out of their membership. Her experience includes work in membership, annual giving, donors relations, and advancement communications for a number of different education and nonprofit organizations. She holds a BA in History and Anthropology from University of Connecticut and an MA in Public History from Northeastern University.
Michael O’Brien | Senior Associate

Michael has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at Wheaton College, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School and Boston College High School. He holds degrees from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and Hobart & William Smith Colleges where he was a team captain of Hobart’s lacrosse team.
Adam Bradley | Associate

Adam has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at The University of Michigan as well as its Ross School of Business. He also led research and recruiting efforts at Qualigence International. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and a certificate in strategic leadership from the University of Michigan.
Terence Bodak | Associate

Terence has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at Drew University, Rutgers University and Monmouth University. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in European History, both from Monmouth University.
Gina Fiorillo | Associate

Gina has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at New York University, the Rutgers University Foundation, Kean University, and Douglass College. She holds a B.A. in English from Douglass College and an M.P.A. from the School of Public Affairs & Administration at Rutgers University.
Erin Glidden | Associate

Erin has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at the South Dakota State University Foundation and the Mid-America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Her other experience includes marketing and sports communication. She holds a B.B.A. and a certificate in entrepreneurship and marketing management from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
Josh Nay | Associate

Josh has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at the Solebury School, University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, and the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation. His other experience includes volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America. Josh has a B.A. in Museum Studies from Gettysburg College and an M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mae Parker | Associate

Mae has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at the University of Iowa, Grinnell College and Earlham College. Mae holds a B.A. in Business and Nonprofit Management from Earlham College and an M.A. in Executive Development for Public Service from Ball State University. She received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University.
Megan Poole | Associate

Megan has led annual giving and other advancement efforts at the University of Virginia and the University of Florida. Her other experience includes work as a college writing instructor and a high school English teacher. She holds a B.A. in English from Wesleyan College and an M.A. in English from Syracuse University.
