This person will serve as a critical member of the Advancement leadership team, elevating ongoing operations and delivering strategic, data-based insight to support Division and College initiatives. The Director of Advancement Operations and Strategies will demonstrate both an ability to think in a structured and strategic manner to set long-term strategies for processes, technologies and team members and a high degree of attention to detail in daily operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and collaborate with key stakeholders to create, execute, and achieve data-driven fundraising and engagement goals
  • Lead, manage and design the Division’s data systems and processes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive data analytics program
  • Develop and maintain a system of robust reporting
  • Lead prospect development and management
  • Oversee the management of gift transactions and constituent records
  • Lead, develop and mentor the Advancement Operations and Strategies team

Who You Are

The qualified candidate will have…

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in technology and database management in the field of Advancement or non-profit fundraising; 3+ years of management and supervisory experience

It will be helpful if you have…

  • Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology and database management; 5+ years of management and supervisory experience; previous experience in higher education; fundraising campaign and prospect screening experience; experience with Raiser’s Edge or other Advancement CRM systems; SQL, Oracle, or other major database systems experience
