Description

This is an example of our Q1 donor renewal appeal sent in August of 2022 (FY23). Our Q1 letter is typically our highest-performing appeal year-over-year. I have also included examples of the corresponding emails that follow the direct mail piece.

The Q1 campaign is particularly important and successful due to the unit collaboration and content we collect to create 28 unique versions of the letter based on donor giving history and affinity. As a central team, we do not typically have the bandwidth to do this throughout the year. However, it helps us identify unit priorities and lay the foundation for story-telling and case for support for the rest of the year.
