Associate Director, Prospect Research
POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Director leads, manages, and performs in-depth research and analysis on prospects. They conceptualize and develops proactive prospecting methodologies to support fundraising objectives for the College. The Associate Director is a relationship builder, working in partnership with fundraisers throughout the gift cycle, providing strategic recommendations, research, procedural and other support as appropriate. The Associate Director serves as the day-to-day research lead and supervises a growing team of research professionals. As team leader, they are responsible for ensuring efficient, proactive, and precise information output by the research team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Licenses/Certificates: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. A valid driver’s license is required or equivalent means of reliable transportation to off-site meetings and events. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of advancement experience or related field at an academic institution is preferred.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Weekend and evening work may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division. Hybrid schedule is available.
ANNUAL SALARY: The annual salary for this role is between $85,000 and $91,500 with a competitive benefits package. The specific factors that the College will consider when offering a salary to an individual will include, but not be limited to education, training, relevant prior experience, and performance in prior roles.
