Be a part of something revolutionary at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation! The Annual Fund Director is responsible for the overall management of the JYF Annual Fund Program. The Annual Fund is designed to acquire and upgrade donors at gift levels at and below $10,000. Funds are raised through direct mail, email solicitation, and personal solicitation. The program is also responsible for stewardship programs related to the donors acquired by the program. The funds raised are generally unrestricted and used to support the programs of JYF. The position also manages The 1607 Society, the Inc.’s leadership donor society and oversees management of the Raiser’s Edge database. 

What are the qualifications for this position? 

•  Demonstrated superior communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Results oriented with proven experience in meeting fundraising goals.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to work effectively with board members, staff, and volunteers at all levels.
• Ability to assist Board of Trustees and Board of Directors with information regarding the Annual Fund assignments and general information about the Development program.
• Experience with fundraising database required; Raiser’s Edge preferred. 
• Experience in fund raising for a non-profit organization or equivalent education preferred. Experience in working with volunteer committees and museum experience helpful. 

What are the salary and benefits? 

 The salary for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 annually.
