As a member of Penn State’s Office of Annual Giving, you can play an integral role in one of the most respected and successful fundraising operations in the country and contribute to the land-grant mission and future strength of Penn State. We are seeking an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate, manage and execute multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns. Providing primary oversight of Penn State’s Let’s Grow State crowdfunding platform, this position will manage the day-to-day operations of that platform while also promoting the platform to internal and external constituencies. Other responsibilities include managing text-to-give, peer-to-peer, and digital fundraising events.

This position also works closely with the Office of Development Communications and other Annual Giving Staff to develop and implement marketing and solicitation communications strategies for Annual Giving’s digital fundraising platforms. Requires excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.

Position Requirements: 

  • Familiarity with email and social media marketing, digital fundraising technology and strategy are strongly desired.
  • Some experience with web content development, HTML, SEO, and web analytics is encouraged.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse stakeholders and projects.

This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate’s competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
