Gift Processing and Data Specialist (Advancement)
St. Benedict’s Preparatory School is seeking a fulltime Gift Processing and Data Specialist, responsible for accurately recording and accounting for all charitable gifts received by the Advancement Office. Data entry, receipt/acknowledgement, batch audit documentation and reconciliation with the Finance Office are key functions of the position. The Gift Processing and Data Specialist will work under the supervision of the Senior Director of Advancement and is responsible to organize all aspects of gift and data entry on the development information system. The position makes a valued impact by providing a high level of customer service and accuracy, as well as by working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
Description of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize all gift and pledge accounting and data entry.
- Maintain accurate and current records for the alumni and donors of the School.
- Coordinate the campaign pledge reminder process; work collaboratively and creatively with the Gift Stewardship and Annual Fund teams on both duties.
- Generate timely and comprehensive reports.
- Serve as the Advancement Office’s primary liaison to the Finance Office for the purpose of gift deposits, audits, reports and the reconciliation of accounts.
- Responsible for becoming cross-trained in other functions of the Advancement Operations unit, including the prospect management process, events management, NXT module and the ability to perform basic prospect research and query/list generation.
- Provide a high level of customer service to assist constituents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in accounting, bookkeeping or data management preferred.
Other Considerations:
Superior communication skills and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), Google Suite and advanced information systems, methods and procedures. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software is a plus.
