Description

Senior Class Gift
Participation based. Can give to any fund on campus (percentage put on paver on sidewalk)
Have senior class mugs for a donation of class year: $20.25
The mug gets the seniors discounts at over ten local businesses (mostly food and drink)
We have mug nights at one of the local pubs on Wednesdays. During that time student orgs with funds can "host" a mug night encouraging seniors to make their senior class gift to their organization.
We have themed mug nights with swag giveaways: Halloween, Ugly Christmas Sweater, Mugaritaville
We work with Tribe Athletics to push Ten for the Tribe ($10) which has a success rate of 97% for seniors
We have a senior donor only event in the April with a minimum gift of $5.
We have a giving society called the Sunken Garden Society for seniors:
Give a gift 3 out of 4 years including senior class gift
Give a gift 2 years in a row including senior class gift
Make a recurring gift starting senior year of at least 2 years
Members of the Sunken Garden Society receive a philanthropy cord for graduation and perfect 4 year donors also receive a lapel pin
Senior members of the our student org Students for University Advancement (SUA) help run the program. Mostly volunteer led (we do have 2 student interns that help with SCG that are SUA members)

Downloaded file is a submission example from 2024 that won a CASE silver medal
