Description

We put this piece together as part of a Young Alumni Soliciation. It was an A/B test that included a sticker insert. We applied some of what we'd learned from the Premiums AGN session, and the A/B test. Aside from trying to bring our Young Alumni into our donor pool, the hope was to get newer, updated data on our young alumni residencies. I would certainly do a few things different -- for starters, we will be switching to a digital appeal. Young alumni data is too way too variable to be helpful at our institution. The bounce backs were so great that the A/B test was basically void; we couldn't actually tell if it made a difference. But I liked the use of including how long it had been since they graduated; it was a good opportunity as we rebuild for me to press our advancement colleagues to start thinking outside the box a little bit to better understand the different kinds of data an annual giving program looks at than just "what you'd expect".
