Assistant Director, Tech Caller Program
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, TECH CALLER PROGRAM, Alumni Association, to create and implement strategy, tracking, and marketing for the Tech Caller Program (outbound telemarketing program employing students). Will provide direct day-to-day management of the twenty-four station call center, including recruitment, training, and retention of its seventy-plus student employees; have regular contact with MIT students, alumni, Alumni Association staff, staff in other Institute administrative offices, Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) CAMPUSCALL® technical support people, and other outside vendors; and assist with a variety of direct marketing projects, including direct mail and e-marketing outreach.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least two years of relevant work experience; excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills; a commitment to customer service; ability to work independently and approach problems with creativity, insight, and resourcefulness; willingness and ability to lift weights of up to 40 pounds to assist with different program events and activities; experience with automated telemarketing software, with RNL CAMPUSCALL® being highly preferred; and strong computer skills. PREFERRED: staff or student management experience, knowledge of database software, and a background in non-profit organizations or higher education telemarketing. Job #18040-6
Must be able to work beyond regular business hours as necessary to provide staffing for evening and weekend phonathons.
