Make a difference by raising scholarship funds for students of all backgrounds. NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director of Annual Giving. The Assistant Director will be a key frontline Annual Fund Officer in our efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward our 110,000+ alumni, friends, and parents to increase annual unrestricted financial support as we look to expand our ever-growing pipeline of supporters for Stern’s Graduate and Undergraduate students and programs. S/he will raise funds through face-to-face visits from a pool of ~250 highly successful prospects capable of giving $1,500-$25,000. The Assistant Director will also recruit, coach, and support 4+ Reunion Committees annually and will collaborate with the Senior Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations and team on strategy for Stern Annual Fund’s cultivation, solicitation, and implementation.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with drive, passion, and a proven ability to collaborate on a team and independently manage projects. Volunteer management experience is also preferred.
