Description
This appeal effort was the first ever large-scale mailing on behalf of the 5 colleges. We worked with each college to develop the letter and content and college discretionary and scholarship funds were the primary designations.
What makes this unique
It is unique because it was only the 2nd major mailing for a university that was founded in 1901 but has not had ongoing and consistent development and alumni relations. Almost everything we are doing is new to our alumni.
Primary Goal
The primary goals were acquisition and reactivation.
Outcome
It has raised so far across the 5 versions nearly $28,000 and had an average gift of $98. We would have liked to see it better/higher, but in terms of ROI we had $0.28 as the cost to raise $1.
