The Coordinator I, Major & Principal Gifts will provide administrative support to two major gift officers in generating significant philanthropic support for unrestricted and restricted medical specialties and clinical programs. This position is responsible for the organization of fundraising support activities for major gift officers including but not limited to: Consistent tracking, utilization, and review of donor/prospect activity and gift processing information in the Development database; drafting internal/external correspondence; coordinating briefings, tours and other activity.

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative support experience (prior VP or Director level support) in a fast paced, service-oriented environment with exposure to communications and fundraising. Writing (business & thank you letters, misc. correspondence), Database experience (e.g. CRM, RaisersEdge), Organization (calendaring, project management, mail merges) and MS Office suite proficiency.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:
College degree or equivalent experience required. Prefer coursework, experience in journalism, communications, or business.
